How to Make your Holiday Entertaining it’s Best this Upcoming Season!

There is so much that goes into hosting a holiday with all the necessary preparations, but one very important detail to keep in mind is having your rooms that you entertain in look fresh, updated, and beautiful. The lovely china laid out on the dining room table, needs to be shown in a room that is warm, and inviting, with freshly updated colors that are pleasing to the eye. Take this opportunity to make your guests feel delighted to be a part of this special event. You have so many great choices from the vast palate of the Benjamin Moore color fan deck. We will personally drop it off at your door so that you can simply select your choices right in the comfort of your own home. Once that is done, we highly recommend you then go to the J.C. Licht/Benjamin Moore paint store, to get samples of the colors that you choose, so you can test the color in a very small area, before we paint the rooms. This will ensure that it is the exact color that you want for your home. Let this holiday season be the start of having your home look as beautiful as it can be, with your newly painted rooms for your guest’s enjoyment, as well as your own!

Amazing Brick Makeover Changes

You don’t have to settle for old, red brick on either your Exterior of your home, or for your Interior Fireplace. Many homeowners are updating the brick on the Exterior, or partial brick on the front of the Exterior, and changing the color to a more updated white, off white, or even light gray such as the photo below. Having the right painting company do the work, with the right application process, is very important. Not only is the specific Materials used important, but also having highly skilled painters/ painting contractors doing the work is a must.

Changing the outdated red brick Fireplace is another option that homeowners have. Not only does it look like a brand new fireplace, it also brightens up the room when a white or off-white color is used, such as the photo below.

Dont “settle” for what you have, either when you buy a new home, or when you have lived in the home for many years. A facelift does wonders for the appearance, and you will love to show this off to your friends and family members.

Deck Staining Done Right

We always recommend using Sherwin Williams SuperDeck Solid Acrylic Stain for the best protection of your deck. We stain Decks if we are staining/painting the whole house. We always recommend using a Solid Acrylic Stain, as opposed to a Semi-Trans stain for your deck to look better and last longer. With a Solid Acrylic Stain, you can use the same color that you are using on your house, or you can go with a totally different color for the deck. All the choices of colors that you have for your house can also be used for your Deck, along with some other colors that come in the SuperDeck brochure.

We are often asked ” How often should you stain the deck?”. That all depends on the Deck, along with the weather conditions and the foot traffic on the Deck. Because of the foot traffic, a Deck is often stained more that a house is stained. A typical house is done every 5-7 years to be on the best maintenance schedule. We occasionally, though, need to do the Decks for our customers more often, possibly every few years. Many of our customers, though, only do their Decks when they are doing their house staining.

Is There a ROI on Painting the Exterior of Your Home?

According to a Seller Survey by HomeGain on Top DIY Home Improvements, painting the Exterior leads to a 55% ROI. The Exterior of your home is the first thing sellers will see. Curb appeal is extremely important.

Jennie Norris, Chairwoman of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals, however, recommends that you leave it to the Professionals to do the job, however. She says that you don’t want to use too many colors on the Exterior. A variety of colors can be distracting and make the house appear choppy or smaller- distracting the buyers eye. Typically, 3 colors is the most that you want to do. She recommends using the 60-30-10 percentage rule. 60% is the body, 30% is the Garage doors and Trim, and the final 10% is the front/shutters with just a pop of color.

However, even if you are not planning to sell your home, it’s important to keep up on the maintenance of your home. Typically, a cedar sided home is done every 5-7 years. The signs of when your home needs to be done would be: Peeling, chipping, cracked wood, fading, and rotted wood. Also, if the caulking is bad, such as cracked and loose.

Your home is typically your largest investment. You need to protect your investment wisely.

Using the Right Finish on Interior Painting

One important part of the painting process for Interior Painting is knowing the correct finish to use when painting walls, trim, and ceilings. For walls, it is very important not to use too high of a finish. The lowest finish available in most paint products is a Flat. The next highest is a Matte, or some paint brands refer to it also as Low Sheen. From there, it goes up to an Eggshell, and next highest is often a Semi-Gloss. Different finishes have different purposes, besides just the look. A flat finish will hide the best for any imperfections in the walls ( this has nothing to do with the paint job. It is with the construction or wearing -divots, nail pops, previous drips from other painters, cracks, bad drywall work, bad construction of the walls where you can see all the seams, etc). A flat is also recommended where you have light reflected walls, or walls that get a lot of direct sunlight, with large areas as such. That is because if you use too high of a sheen, you can get a “flashing” problem, where when you look down the wall, you can see the stops and starts of the rollers or brushes. A Matte or Low Sheen is what we recommend for most walls, as it has a slight sheen which looks nice, but most importantly, it cleans up better than a flat. Sometimes an Eggshell is used for Bathrooms and Kitchens, which are the rooms that would get the most wear/ marks on the walls. However, we feel the products we use ( Benjamin Moore Aura or Ultra Spec, or Sherwin Williams Emerald), have a good Matte or Low Sheen that is sufficient. Again, if you go too high of a sheen, you can have problems. For trim, you should not use regular wall paint in a semi-gloss, which is what some painting companies do. We recommend an enamel is used instead, such as the Benjamin Moore Satin Impervo Waterborne. Finally, on ceilings, the only finish we recommend is Flat, so that you do not see any flashing. Choosing the right painting company that has the years of experience to know about these finishes is important.

Exterior Weather Conditions Rated by the Crew of Paint-Right Painting Inc.

Now that the Exterior season is finishing, we thought it would be interesting to hear what the crew has to say about which weather conditions outside are the toughest to work in. We asked them to rate the following: 1) Heat, 2) Humidity, 3) Cold, 4) Wind: Here’s the answers:

Dan, Painting Contractor: The worst is Wind. Next is Cold. Following that would be Humidity and then Heat.

Tony, Painter: Humidity is the worse. Next is Wind. Following that is Heat. The easiest is Cold. Comments: We had a good season, but 1 job with a lot of prep work we did was hard. This house was in really bad shape. There was a lot of peeling. It probably could have used a 3rd coat, but the customer wanted to do only 1 coat, except in worse areas he agreed on 2 coats. What happened is this house was not kept in good condition, and the last time it was painted, they probably just painted over the peeled areas.

Mike, Painter: The worst is Humidity. Next is Wind. Following that is Heat and then finally Cold. Comments: One day, when I was working with Dan, the wind was so intense that you couldn’t even go on a step ladder. Also, with winds, when on a roof or putting a ladder on it, it can be very dangerous.

John, President: I would combine Heat and Humidity together as the worse. Next is Wind, and then Cold. If it is Cold and Windy, you can’t work. If it’s just cold, then you can. In 4 Decades, the worse is the Heat with the Humidity. It’s a killer. It destroys you.

Chris, President of Tacoma, WA location: These conditions don’t apply out here. We never have Humidity. However, the fog can be bad. Typically, we start with a rainy season, then it turns good, and then comes the Fog with the Cold. At the end, there is only 4-5 workable hours time in a day. Also, what currently is going on is a lot of smoke from all the fires out here.

So that’s the opinion of the crew. Everyone has a different perspective of the conditions. The guys in IL are in for a big change now that our Interior season is starting, and they don’t have to be concerned about the weather outside! In the Tacoma location, Chris is doing Exterior and Interior both during the Spring/Summer season.

Painting Exterior Brick on a Home

Many homeowners of Cedar Sided homes have a brick front/ or partial brick on their home, and want to create a “WOW” Factor when the house is up for a new painting/staining. This us usually done to take a darker colored brick to go lighter. Most often, white is used on the brick. However, it can be a tan or gray color, or another color to match the siding.

There are some situations, however, that we prefer not to paint the brick. The first is when their is noted water damage to the brick, which you can tell by seeing water stains on the brick in areas. Another situation is when there is efflorescence, which is water in the brick, that evaporates, and then leaves crystalline salts on the brick. The final situation where we prefer not to paint the brick is when there are problems with the tuck-pointing falling apart.

In the above situations, you may want to hire a company that stains the bricks instead. However, it won’t be a solid, uniform, consistent look such as the painted look.

Painting the brick is usually a 3 step process of a primer, and 2 topcoats of a flat paint that is good for masonry surfaces. You want to ensure it has a uniform, consistent finish, which is why a hand application as opposed to spraying is the best way for the project to be done.

This is a subtitle for your new post

Now that Paint-Right Painting LLC is up and running in it's WA state location, we would like you to get to know Chris Wright, son of IL President John Wright and VP-Sales and Marketing Kathy Wright. Chris was with the IL company location for 11 years before relocating to Tacoma to build the WA location in 2016.

          1) What inspired you to go to WA and start the new Paint-Right Painting location?

          “More work opportunity out here.”

          2) How, for painting, is WA different than IL?

“For exterior painting, no one brushes and rolls – everyone sprays. With our method of brush/roll, you have more control and apply more paint. You are not wasting materials by spraying it into the air. You need to back roll over the wood by pushing the paint into the wood, or it can lead to failing.”

          3) What is the most important thing to communicate to homeowners about painting their home?

          “Use professionals.”

          4) What do you think separates you from the rest of the painting companies in WA?

“The painting methods used back in IL (at home) have been proven to work. We have the ability to brush and roll the house exterior in almost the same amount of time it takes to spray a house.”

5)On a personal note, what do you enjoy most about living in the WA area now?

“The ability to drive about an hour and be in the middle of the mountains and the lakes.”

Chris is pictured relaxing at his new home recently purchased in Tacoma, WA.

As part of our series of blogs of highlighting our employees, we would like to share now an interview with the President of Paint-Right Painting, John Wright.

1)What would you say is the biggest change in your industry that you have seen over your 38 years in business?

“The amount of different colors of paint that you can now get is incredible. It is about 1000% better now in the number of choices that you have, and the paints themselves are better in many ways, especially the Acrylics. The downside is losing all the oil-based coatings because they were great products, but that is a result of the EPA ( Environmental Protection Agency) restrictions.”

2)What do you feel separates your company from the rest of the competition?

“That we are Family Owned and Operated, which means exactly what it says. We are different than the bigger companies, that lose customer quality and the quality control is gone. As far as the little guys- they are limited to what they can do because they are only 1 person. The level of expertise has gotten bad, especially in the last 10 years.”

3)What are you most proud of about your business?

“That we are a legitimate W2 payer ( which means everyone who works for us are our employees), and not sub-contractors, and most other companies are 1099 payers ( for sub-contractors), and the owners of the companies don’t even do the work.

4)Tell us something personal about yourself that you would like to share.

Paint-Right Painting Inc. is pleased to announce and congratulate employee Dan Wright (brother of owner John Wright) for reaching and celebrating his 35th year anniversary with the company. Dan is considered a painting contractor with Paint-Right as he bids, paints, and supervises all his own exterior painting projects during the exterior season, which runs from April through October. Dan then works with John and the rest of the family members and crew on the interior projects that are done November through March. Dan started bidding his own projects in 1994. Dan has painted many customers repeatedly over the years, and his repeat customers often just give a go-ahead to paint, even before they receive new quotes for the project. Right now, Dan has a number of exterior customers who have given the go-ahead to paint this 2018 exterior season, and Dan has not even bid the projects yet. That alone is proof of the quality work that he does.

To give you a better insight and understanding of Dan’s history, he was interviewed by Kathy Wright, V.P. Sales and Marketing, and Dan answered the following questions:

          1) What do you think is your best quality, as a painting contractor for Paint-Right Painting:

“I get the job done within the timeframe that I state it will be done. I am very responsible and serious about my craft. I don’t take my craft lightly.”

          2) What one thing do you most enjoy about your work?

“I did the best I could do on each job to make sure that it turns out the best it can be.”

          3) What piece of advice would you give to a new painter starting out in your trade?

          4) What do you like to do in your spare time?

Considering Wallpaper for your home? Read this for a heads up on the subject

Everything in our world seems cyclical. Wait long enough and it comes back around.

Wallpaper is back in vogue. It actually has been popular for several years, but now is getting a lot of attention by the Interior Designers and magazines on decorating. Yes it is expensive, but today most everything is! You can look through magazines, look on line , and also you should consider hiring a consultant. You can call your local paint stores and ask if they offer a decorator consultant and you will be happy that you did.

Once the ball is rolling and you have ordered your paper, get the tools you need and a guide to help you through. Remember, though, the magazines show you the end result. There is a lot of work to get to that point. If you do not want to tackle the job yourself, consider hiring it out to a local decorator. You need to make sure that who you hire is experienced with the new wall coverings that are in vogue. These wall coverings are different than the ones from years ago. You need to get referrals, check the Better Business Bureau ( BBB ) on line, and also online Google Reviews. Unfortunately, there are a lot of sub standard contractors- so ” Buyer Beware”.

The most important aspect of having this work done will be the wall preparation. It is imperative that all repairs are done 1st, sanded, and primed. Then all areas to be wallpapered must be sealed/sized properly so that when you decide to remove the wall covering, it comes off . Generally, it isn’t easy. Verify with the contractor who is putting it up, or with the store that sells you the paper, that this paper will come off, and you should have that in writing from them.

You have to understand that if it’s not put on correctly, your walls can and will get damaged when removing the paper. It can cost a couple hundred to a couple thousand dollars to remove. It if is prepped properly when it is put on, and no short cuts are taken, the stripping will be acceptable, but also it still won’t be easy. That is what you have to expect when you have wallpaper. So think about this seriously if you decide to do wallpaper. Decorating trends come and go, and if you stay in your home, down the road you may decide that you do not want the wallpaper anymore.

So who is actually painting your house?

Here’s some facts: There are over 500,000 Illegal Immigrants in Illinois, and 300,000 in Chicago alone, with the balance in the collar counties. Many painting companies hire these people, who have no painting skills, and are sub-par workers, but they are paid cheap wages and the painting company then gives the customer a low price.

Many painting companies sub out their work, and do no background checks on people, so that there is no quality control of who is doing the work, and you actually let these people come into your home.

It’s important to do a good background check on the painting company you choose. Checking Angies List, Google reviews, and website testimonials are good starts. It is important to check the BBB ( Better Business Bureau), but not just look at the rating of the business (A-F). Many companies have high ratings, in the “B or A” category, but they have lots of complaints on them that were resolved, so the BBB still gives them a high rating. Do you really want to work with a painting company that had a number of complaints against them that needed to be filed?

It is also good to work with a painting company who is also a Member of your local Chamber of Commerce. Having good standing in the local business community is always important as well.

Franchise companies should be steered away from as well. These are typically owned by business owners, who buy into a business, but have no proper painting experience.

It is important to do a little research on who you choose to do the project for you.

Can be several causes, but we are seeing more now because they were previously not painted correctly, with improper preparation work, or non-compatible coatings.

Sometimes glossy/shiny paint was used on trim when flat should have been used.

Cedar is not supposed to peel. Can be moisture in the wood, such as it was painted too soon after it rained.

Sometimes sanding wasn’t done when it was supposed to have been done.

Sometimes the house should have had a primer and it wasn’t used, or the painting company told the homeowner that they only needed 1 coat and they should have had 2.

Why choosing an experienced contractor/painting company is important

Sometimes homeowners are just looking at the cost of the paint quote, when searching for a painting company, which is not good to do. Going with the “cheap” price often hurts in the long run. Here are some reasons as to why. We know of these reasons , as our current customers who “went cheap” the time before we painted for them, have told us these stories:

The house started peeling all over 1 or 2 years after the paint job was done. This is because the proper preparation schedule for that particular house was not done properly. Every house has its individual needs.

Mistakes were made on the job. The painting company was supposed to come back and fix them, and they never returned calls or showed up again. Note: Mistakes should not have been made in the first place.

None of the painters spoke English and couldn’t understand anything the homeowner asked them. This is because many of the well-known franchise companies, as well as many small cheap companies hire cheap, unskilled laborers, many of which cannot speak English and pay them low wages.

Often, painters would show up only for partial days, or not show up for days at a time, dragging out how long the job should take. Many of these companies take on too much work, and promise start and finish dates that they shouldn’t have. Now they have to do several jobs at the same time to get all these houses done and they subcontract out the work.

There is an old saying, ” You get what you pay for”….and this is very true in the painting industry. It is to the benefit of the homeowner, to often go with a more expensive company, to get highly skilled craftsmen doing the job, instead of the cheap, inexperienced laborers who can often ruin a house.

Paint-Right Painting Inc. is pleased to introduce to everyone our newest employee who came on board two exterior seasons ago, Mike Sayers. Mike started part time with us and became a full time employee last spring season. Mike now is working under our President John Wright, as well as family member Dan Wright, John’s brother who has been with the company 34 years.

Mike’s work consists of all the necessary steps in applying coatings for exterior and interior painting. We wanted everyone to get to know Mike a little bit better by having him answer the following questions in a recent interview with Kathy Wright, V.P. Sales and Marketing.

What is the most interesting thing you have learned by becoming a painter?

I never knew that there were several different types of paint for the painting business.

What is the most difficult part of painting for you?

Right now, it’s rolling out ceilings.

What tip would you give to someone first learning to be a painter?

Ask plenty of questions, and take things one at a time.

Which do you prefer- Interior or Exterior Painting, and why?

I prefer Interior. It is more detail -based and slower paced.

We would like to thank Mike for all of his hard work and welcome him as a full-time member of the Paint-Right Painting Team! Here’s a photo of Mike working at a customer’s home:

We are happy to announce the opening of a brand new J.C. Licht/Benjamin Moore store in Plainfield, IL! Located just east of Route 59 on 135th street, this new store is very convenient for our South Naperville and Plainfield customers.

We bring our professional experience and expertise right to your door by dropping off a color fan deck to assist as you select colors for interior and exterior house painting services. However, we understand there are some clients that still like to go to the store personally, look at color selections and pick out samples – and we wholeheartedly support this!

Because there are so many different interior paint options, it can be overwhelming to decide not only on a color, but also what brands and products are best. The Aura Matte and Ultra Spec Low Sheen are the two best products on the market today, and we consult with our clients to help them make the best decision for their home.

Don’t forget – we buy all paint for our customers! So no hidden costs or additional fees when you work with Paint Right Painting.

Hiring the Right Painting Contractor for your home

Hiring the right painting contractor to paint the Exterior of your home can be a difficult task if you are new at having your house stained/painted. Here are some following tips/guidelines:

A referral is always one of the best ways to hire, when you can talk to someone who previously used their services.

A good contractor has an excellent rating with the Better Business Bureau. You should be concerned if you do a search of the particular contractor and they don’t even come up as listed with the BBB.

Excellent Reviews on Angie’s List is another good indication that the contractor is well-established and knows what they are doing.

A large number of website testimonials is also a plus when searching for a contractor. Testimonials should have first and last names of the people writing the testimonial.

Many photos of their work on their website is also a good indicator of a company with a good history.

Do a Google search for any negative on-line reviews that might show the contractor has a poor track record.

Contractors who belong to local Chamber of Commerce’s are typically in good standing in their local community.

Painting contractors who hire employees, vs. sub-contractors typically have more quality control in their work as opposed to the many, many nowadays type painting companies that sub out their work because they take too much on.

Always receive a formal proposal in writing from the contractor with complete details on the scope of the work and what Materials are being used. The proposal should always have a 1st and 2nd coat priced separately. There is no way to know ahead of time if the 1st coat will completely cover, so you should always have in writing what the cost of the 2nd coat would be, if it needs to be applied.

So do your research first to be sure you are hiring the best. And it’s always good to go with your “gut feeling” when you meet the company too: Are they professional? Did they arrive on time for the appointment? Did they take the time to fully explain what the job entails, specific to your house? You need to feel comfortable and have confidence in who you choose to do the work on your home, and doing a little background history research on the company will definitely make a difference in choosing the right contractor to paint/stain your home.

The 2016 “Color of the Year” is “Simply White” according to Benjamin Moore . According to Creative Director, Ellen O’Neill, Benjamin Moore, “White is transcendent, timeless, it’s versatility unrivaled. From weathered wainscoting to crisp canvas shades, porcelain tile to picket fences, white is everywhere in every form- that’s why we chose it as our Color of the Year. Turn down the noise and celebrate the simplicity of white. Simply said….Simply White.” So what to you do to bring color into the rooms? Choose bold accent colors for accent walls, or doors, to bring in striking contrasts, bold lines and definition. Even if you are a little shy about what to choose for an accent, you can hire a color consultant, either through the J.C. Licht /Benjamin Moore Store, or through a professional interior design consultant. Their expertise will guide you through the process, so that you can achieve the best results, and look, for your home. Winter time is the best time to consider changing color schemes in your home, as we tend to spend more time inside sheltered from the cold outside. You can either work with a few rooms, an entire floor of your house, or create a dramatic statement by updating your entire home. The choice is yours- so consider taking the next step, so that you can enjoy your new home as you sit by the fireside, or as you entertain friends and family in your newly created surroundings.

Is it too late to paint your Exterior?

Around the end of August, the season begins to change. The sun doesn’t shine as much during the day, and the temperature goes from the mid 90’s to the high 70’s. During this change people don’t seem to question whether or not it is the appropriate temperature to paint the exterior of their home. It is common to think that if it is still warm enough to be comfortable outside, than the weather is perfect for painting. But what about when those warm days begin to dwindle away? What about the days when you can see your breath outside, and the sky is filled with clouds? When is it no longer an option during the season, to paint the exterior of your home?

During the beginning of the fall season, painting companies begin to get a lot of calls from customers who forgot to paint their home during the summer, but would still like it done before winter arrives. The most common question that we get is, “Is it too cold to paint outside?”. The answer to that question isn’t as complicated as people might believe.

When it comes to the exterior painting season, it’s not really a question of, “Will the paint work?”, but it is more of a question of, “Are these current environmental factors going to effect this job?”. When you are painting the exterior of a home later in the fall, you not only have to consider the temperature outside, but also the temperature at which the workers can work their best. No matter what temperature the product you’re using will hold at, it won’t do you any good if it is no longer a safe temperature to work in.

The bottom line is, if you’re considering painting your home during the fall season, even if it is a little cold outside, as long as weather permits it, and it is safe for the workers to be in that temperature, do not hesitate to get an estimate. Fall is a great time to paint the exterior of your home before the holidays arrive.

Is the Company You're Hiring Lead Paint Certified?

According to the Hazardous Materials Assessment, Inc. of San Leandro, CA, lead paint has been used since 6500 B.C. during the Roman Empire. It has been used to paint everything from toys, and household appliances, to pillars of ancient cities. Fast forward about 8,000 years, and as it turns out, lead paint isn’t exactly the safest form of paint you should be using in your home. Now the question i’m sure you’re asking is, “how does this affect me?”. The answer to that question can simply be put- if your home was built prior to the year 1978, then you and your family are at risk for being exposed to lead poisoning.

So what is it about lead paint that makes it so toxic? Lead paint was banned in the 1960’s, for having contained high amounts of lead in it. Although the lead in the paint made the color pop a bit more, it was found that due to the process of sanding, and scraping when repainting a house, the disturbance in the paint caused dust to get into the lungs of those who were working there, as well as those who lived in the home. According to The Environmental Protection Agency, lead can have effects on almost every organ in the body. It can cause anemia, and hearing problems in children, and even decreased kidney function in adults.

Now that you know the dangers of what lead paint can do, you need to ask yourself, “what can I do to fix this problem?”. The first thing you can do is to find out what year your home was built. If your home was built prior to the year 1978, then you most likely have lead paint somewhere in your home. If you’re thinking of repainting your home, either interior or exterior, make sure that you use a painting company who is lead paint certified. There difference between a company who is lead paint certified, to one who isn’t, is that the company who isn’t lead paint certified, did not go through a formal training process to know how to carefully paint, to properly prep out a home that has lead paint, and to do the necessary containment procedures for a home with lead paint.

So before you decide to repaint your home, make sure to ask prospective painting companies if they are lead paint certified.

As a painting company, it is very important to market the products you are using. In the last 50 years, the advertising industry has gone from a well drawn painted design, to a digitized computer format. The former appeal of hand painted advertisements was for a generation that simply didn’t need to get answers to questions from the palm of their hand. To the past generations, reading about a product or service in a newspaper, or magazine was enough for them. Now in the age of the millennials, if you can’t find the info you’re looking for on your smartphone, you convince yourself you didn’t really need the information to begin with. The question you need to ask yourself is, how has the new designs of advertisements affected the way I make a decision of what painting company to use as a consumer?

Although I am speaking from the perspective of a company, we are all consumers in some form or another. Have you ever stopped to think how the advertising you see everyday affects the way you make a purchase? We are only human after all, and as such we react to simple eye catching techniques. No longer are we in the days of black and white ads with bold print, but a new era of bright colors, interactive videos, and social media platforms. Lets be honest here, if you came across a website that had a plain white background, black print, with no drop down boxes, even if you knew the company was very good, you probably wouldn’t give it a second look.

We as people let our eyes do a great deal of the decision making. If something we see at a store is eye catching, we won’t be thinking about if it’s well made, or what kind of customer ratings it has, all we will be thinking about is that we like what we see, and we want to learn more about it. This very concept can be applied to all product and services, including painting companies. Advertising is an ever changing entity that will change as fast as new technology will allow it to. So the next time you are going to look for a product or service to use, pay attention to how much you are allowing the advertising you see, affect your decision.
