“Paint-Right started on time, finished on time, were neat, and the job looked great! We have had them back to do other work and I wouldn’t use another painter”— Paul Johnson, Naperville, IL

This house had a serious mold problem over the whole house.Mold forms in 1 of 2 ways: Not having any sun and usually a northern exposure.Through the use of a combination of outdated oil stains coupled with the homeowner watering their lawn extensively, creating an almost tropical situation.Generally one would see heavy mold at the bottom, but very little at the top, it is because mold spores have attached themselves to the bottom and are currently in process of moving up as they become caked by watering. This problem can be slowed or even eliminated through the use of an acrylic product combined with a mildewcide additive and the homeowner’s adjustment of where the lawn sprinklers are placed and pointing.
To remove the mold from this home, we had to hand clean and rinse out at the same time to eliminate all of the mold spores. We then power washed and left the home to completely dry for approximately 1 week. We find that this is the only solution to the elimination of mold from you home – a very labor intensive process. Once we removed the mold, we were able to continue the house painting process.

“Paint-Right gave us the best job we have ever had with our house painting. Our Victorian home required much preparation before it could be painted, and much patience on the part of the painters. Painted ladies need much attention to detail, and the Wrights were unfailingly accommodating, pleasant and courteous.”— Jean Anderson, Naperville, IL

We had to think this project out completely in advance and plan very carefully before we were able to begin house painting. Our preparation work and appropriate coatings were thought out in advance and painstakingly applied. The project was very labor intensive. The railings, alone took 2 weeks to complete due to the detailed work required. For these older Victorian homes, choosing the right colors is one of the most important aspects of the project. The customer knew which colors to select, but we worked with them to fine tune the final color scheme and to balance the colors throughout the house. This new color scheme provided exactly the look that they desired. Note: The Anderson home has now been painted twice by Paint-Right Painting.
